FOR THE PAST YEAR, GO GREEN MOBILE CLEAN owner Mark Quigley and his daughter Tara have provided eco  friendly, mobile car washing services to their customers in the Cape Region.

As Mark Quigley of Milton finished waxing a bright red Ford Mustang coupe with the help of his daughter Tara, the brilliant shine of the car seemed to reflect just about everything.

A spick and span interior and exterior is the ultimate Quigley signature, they say, and for a family who has been detailing cars together for years, a perfect wash is the only acceptable outcome.

After moving to Milton from Long Island, N. Y., a year ago, the Quigley family has set its sights on even cleaner horizons with its newest venture, Go Green Mobile Clean. Using more than 20 years’ experience developing the latest in car washing technology, Quigley hopes for his company to tackle the dirtiest of cars with the cleanest of methods.

Mark Quigley explained Go Green Mobile Clean is a one of a kind business that delivers car wash services straight to customers and is eco friendly. An ordinary car wash consumes anywhere from 100 to 175 gallons of water, he said, but with his methods, an automobile can be polished, waxed and look better than ever using only one gallon of water altogether.

The secret of the perfect wash, he says, lies in using the best of natural cleaning products that contain no dyes, solvents or non biodegradable chemicals. Utilizing high power, special blend polymers, cars come out not only looking spotless, but they have a fresh scent and an all natural protective finish.

“These [products] use very little water and still deliver the highest quality washes,” said Quigley as he buffed a black luxury car to a shine outside of a client’s home. “The polymers encapsulate dirt, and we use very light towels to lift that dirt away.”

Because a large amount of water is not necessary, Quigley said customers can enjoy a whole range of benefits. Not only can Go Green mobilize to clients’ homes, he said, the family can also wash vehicles just about anywhere. “We have our own generator, vacuum and compressor installed in our van, so a wash can be done wherever it is needed,” said Quigley.

While Go Green customarily brings its services to a customer’s front door, the Quigley's also offer cleaning while customers are at work or even while they shop. A basic wash takes approximately a half an hour; more extensive washes take slightly longer, said Quigley. With a number of premium packages available, it is easy to choose a wash that fits any timeframe, he said.

The Quigleys also clean motor homes, airplanes and boats, so no matter what the size, they’re ready to take on the job. Prices vary depending on the size of the car, but the wide palette of packages is designed to fit many budgets, he said. The Go Green Basic includes an exterior cleaning and polishing and detailing exterior windows, wheels and tire dressings. The Go Green Premium package includes interior and exterior cleaning services to give a new car feel to any vehicle, said Quigley.

For those seeking an even more thorough wash, the company also offers the Go Green Extreme. The hour and a half wash not only includes everything from the premium package, but it also includes leather cleaning, a fabric protector for seats, a spot shampoo carpet treatment and a special hand wax designed to rejuvenate the car’s original paint job.

“When you ask a Quigley to wash your car, you can’t go wrong,” said Tara Quigley. “ People like their cars so much after we finish; they say it looks completely new.”
